Though Ava Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ava Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Winterton and Ava Winterton. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her siblings, Wayne Winterton, Joyce Stewart (Lynn) and Alene Nielsen (Rich); and her sons, Mike (Jennifer), Dave and Steve (Cynthia).
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1555 West Lovely Road, Salt Lake City, Utah).
