He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leo Gallup, Sharon Gallup and Norman Gage. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Gallup and Elana Gallup; his son David James Gallup; his siblings, Jeremy Gallup (Chari), Tashina Gallup and Kira Robinson (Layne); his grandmother Diane Gage; and his siblings' children, Sadie, Jaxton, Lincoln, Grayson, Raistlin and Nova.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund for Jacob's son, David, to help carry forward the love and care Jacob always showed him.
