He was predeceased by: his wife Maurie Emma Carter; and his brothers, Robert Carter, Doug Carter and Lee Carter. He is survived by: his children, Scott, Tamyra, Camille (Kelly), Shaun and Mindy; and his sisters, Venita and Linda. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
