He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peter and Norma Jones Oreno; his wife Shirley Ann Burbank; and his brothers, John Peter Jr. and David Oreno.
He is survived by: his children, L. Brent Oreno (Michele), Cheryl Gillett, Kathy and Donna Froerer (Todd); and his siblings, Arlene Durham, Karen Fairbanks and Eugene Oreno. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
