Marilyn Savas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Savas (West Jordan, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Alfred Farey Sr. and Catherine Richards Farey; and her sisters, Auline Peterson (Jay) and Jean Woodruff (George). She is survived by: her husband William Savas (Bill); her brother Ollie Farey (Lyndell); and her children, Tami Massie (Tami), Jodie Smith (Ray) and Kevin "Kas" Savas (Aubrey). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, many loved nieces and nephews, and 3 dear neighbors.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Redwood Memorial (6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084).
Alternatively, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated in remembrance of her journey with dementia and the ongoing research to find a cure for this awful disease.
