As Richard Porter departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard Porter may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard Porter leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen Sill; and his children, Darryl, Ann, Glen, Steven and Dean. He was also cherished by his wife, three siblings, five children, twenty four grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (8173 S 3200 W, West Jordan, UT 84088). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
