It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Renee Simonson (West Jordan, Utah), born in Saint Anthony, Idaho, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Devere Barker and Lula Mae Abegglen; and her sister Deloris. She is survived by: her former husband Dennis Christensen; her husband Gayle Simonson; her son Richard; her stepdaughters, Deb and Holly; her grandchildren, Damon (Krystle), A. J. (Scott), Justin (Kari) and Amber (Corey); and her siblings, Layne Slack (Claudia), Deborah Ricord and Diana Hansen.
