He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dr. O. Wendell Hyde and Myrtle Stevens Hyde; his significant other Julie; and his children, Dustin, Ashlie, Shaylee, Kiele and Davis. He was also cherished by his mother, brothers and sisters, wife, five children and their spouses, and 13 grandchildren.
