He is survived by: his wife Ruby Smithson; and his sons, Edward Smithson (Robin) of Stockton, UT, Brent Smithson (Patty Smithson), Phillip Smithson (Melanie Smithson) of West Jordan, UT and Dirk Smithson (Shila). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
