He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Bastos of Carvalho and Julita Laura (Silva); his wife Leni; and his grandson Joseph Horne Carvalho. He is survived by: his children, Claudia Carvalho Perry, Lucia Carvalho Fitisemanu, Alexandre (Silva Carvalho) and Gabriel (Silva Carvalho); his sister Celia Carvalho Valle (Laudiceia); and his grandchildren, Sarah Carvalho, Elana Carvalho, Gabrielle Fitisemanu, Alexandra Fitisemanu, John Perry, Noah Carvalho and Oliver Carvalho.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel (3970 S 5200 W, West Valley City, UT 84120). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
