He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Montoya and Herlinda Ortega; his wife Victoria Anna Montoya; his siblings, Ester Merris and Arturo Montoya; his sons, Marciano Estrada, Jose "Little Joe" Estrada, Charlie Estrada and Andres Montoya; and his son-in-law Bret Bartell.
He is survived by: his sister Pauline Hardy (Fred); his children, Elvira Rondas (Pat), Helen Estrada, Isabel McDonald (Dave), Cindy Bartell, Billy Estrada (Angie) and Robert Montoya (Kristy); and his daughters-in-law, Daniele Collard (Curtis) and Diana Estrada. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the McDougal Funeral Home - C/D (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McDougal Funeral Home (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park (W 4100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84120).
