She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Lanphere (Buck) and Geraldine Marshall Lanphere; and her son Andrew. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ronér; her children, Jessica Hayes (Gordon), Erika Messenger (Thad) and Zachary Ronér; and her granddaughters, Annalise, Emmaline and Gwendolyn Hayes.

She donated hundreds of hand crocheted afghans to those who were mourning, but always wanted to do it anonymously.
