She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Reed, Jr.; her siblings, Mary Reed Lowery, Jeanie Reed Sheffey and John Henry Reed, Sr.; and her nephews, John H. Reed, Jr. and Ronald T. Reed.

She is survived by: her mother Nancy Ewing Reed; her daughter Nicole Johnson; her grandsons, Christopher Spears and Isiah Spears; her brother Oscar Reed III (Regina); her uncle Isiah Reed; her nieces and nephews, Gary Grice, Anthony Frazier, Naomi Irvin (Iydell), Dorothea Frazier, Dorothy Frazier-Morales (Isaias) and Rachel Sheffey; her great-niece Asia Frazier; and her close friends, Cheryl Coleman, Becky Dunn and Arthur Beidleman.
