She was predeceased by: her parents, Lockard Herndon and Margie Wise Herndon; her children, Chad Lewis and Christy Lewis; and her siblings, Geraldine Cuddy, Betty Britt, Shirley Wimmer, Jim Herndon and Bobby Herndon.
She is survived by: her husband David Lewis; her daughter Angela Jordan; her sister Diane Weddle (Darrell); her grandchildren, Mercedes Lewis, Lexus Jordan and Lakin Lewis; and her close friends, Imogene Bowers, Sandra Sykes and Gail Holbrook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
