He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Harless Helton (Tom Vandyke) of Abingdon, Brad Austin Thomas of Glade Spring and Mark Andrew Thomas of Glade Spring; his siblings, Selma Camper of North Carolina, Jack Thomas of Abingdon and Paul Thomas of Abingdon; and his grandchildren, Makenzie Helton of Abingdon and Faith Thomas of Glade Spring.
