She was predeceased by: her father Dewey Farmer; her husband Bruce Virgil Emerson; and her siblings, Hazel Dolinger, Mae Taylor, Earl Farmer, Ed Farmer and Willis Farmer.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Emerson (Teresa); her granddaughter Chavala Emerson; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Emerson, Braxton Emerson and Ciera Emerson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
