He was predeceased by: his wife Lorena Harris Bolling; his parents, Jim Bolling and Linnie Mae Bolling; his son Michael Harris Bolling; and his siblings, Marie Carrier, Bud Bolling and Nancy Rodefer.

He is survived by: his daughters, Regina Wilkerson (Larry) of Fredericksburg and Deborah Smith (Steve) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Courtney Wilkerson, Kendall Wilkerson (Matt), Riley Wilkerson and Nathaniel Smith; and his sister Rosezina Claman of Blountville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Barter Theatre in memory of Bobby or the American Red Cross.
