He was predeceased by: his father Roy M. Barker, Sr.; his siblings, Maynard Barker, Danny Barker and Wanda Reynolds; his stepgrandson Austin Daugherty; and his nephew Roy Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thomas Barker; his daughters, Tina Camper (Jerry) of Meadowview, VA and Debbie Daugherty (Patrick) of Bristol, VA.; his grandchildren, Michael Gonderman (Trisha Mullins), Amber Gonderman (Hunter Hayden) and Cole Camper; his great grandchildren, Kazleigh Gonderman and Harland Hayden; his stepgrandchildren, McKinley Johnson and Brayden Daugherty; his stepgreat-grandson Keaton Daugherty; his sisters, Mary Lee (Daryl) of Bristol, VA and Bonnie Booher (Jerry) of Abingdon, VA; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Thomas of Little Mountain, SC and Bob Reynolds of Bristol, VA; and his aunt Mabel Barker Jarvis of Bristol, TN.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Parkinson's Foundation, and the Washington Chapel United Methodist Church.
