He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Joseph Rapp; his parents, Nola Mullins Rapp and Millard "Buss" Rapp; his brother Jeffrey Rapp; his grandparents, Lum, Virginia Mullens, Carl and Mae Rapp; his brother-in-law Charles Reed; and his nephew Joseph Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mitros Rapp; his son Steven Rapp (Virginia) of Abingdon; his parents-in-law, George and Yolanda Mitros of Welch, WV; his siblings-in-law, Larry Cook of Princeton, WV, Pete Mitros of Winston Salem, NC, Christine Cook of Princeton, WV, Jeanne Reed of Welch, WV and Donna Mitros of Winston Salem, NC; his sibling's children, Sarah Reed and Larry Cook (Emily); his close friends, Rachel and Jerry Smithers; his caregivers, Ashley, Kristi and Mary; Rowan. He is also survived by cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve's name to the Abingdon Bible Church, 16210 Elementary Drive, Abingdon, VA 24210 and be designated for the Missions Fund.
