With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Deaton (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carol Warner, Jim, Paul Warner, Betty Statzer, Ruth Pearrell, Sarah McDaniel, Nancy Jessee and Dorothy Saunders (Dot).
She is survived by: her husband Richard Deaton (Tom); her daughters, Lisa Deaton Williams (Jody), Chrissy Deaton Harris (William) and Kelly Deaton Carey (Mike); her brother Guy Warner (Janie); and her grandchildren, Ben Harris (Lauren), Daniel Harris, Joseph Harris, Noah Williams, Brock Carey, Joshua Williams, Taylor Carey and Abigail Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Judes in Carolyn's memory.
