He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnie Gobble and Litty Gobble; his siblings, Dana Gobble and Agnes Salyer (Paul); and his niece Tammy Salyer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy K. Gobble; his son Calvin R. Gobble (Misty); his brothers, George Gobble (Pat) and Danie Gobble; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Gobble and Kara Gobble; his nieces, Terry Stiltner, Shannon Stacy, Teresa Baker and Melisa Jackson; and his nephew Randy Salyer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
