With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Henry Grady (Abingdon, Virginia), born in Washington, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 90. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Charles Henry may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Clinton Grady and Delia Maybell Johnson Grady; and his significant other Jean Grady. He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Walden (Joe Walden), Natalie Grady, Nancy Stallard and Kimberly Fleenor (Doug Fleenor); his grandchildren, Chelsie Mullins and Zeb Walden; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Walden. He is also survived by his siblings and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Knollkreg Memorial Park (556 Walden Rd NE, Abingdon, VA 24210).
