He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Edward and Margaret Virginia Vaught Counts; and his brothers, Eddie Counts and R. L. Counts. He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Counts and Norma Garza (Syl); his siblings, Jennie Counts, Brenda Ketron, Jerry Wayne Counts (Shawntella), Bill Counts (Pam), Rocky Counts (Angela), Ron Counts (Tracey) and Michael Counts; his grandsons, Jeremy Meade and Zachary Meade (Shelley); his great grandchild Cooper Meade; and his friend Dianna Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
