He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hogston Henderson of Saltville; his children, Don Henderson (Lora) and Debbie Henderson-Creasy (Todd); his grandchildren, Adam Henderson, Emily Tortora, Caroline Creasy, Connor Creasy, Katelyn Creasy and Carly Hargroves; and his great grandchild Faye Henderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Abingdon United Methodist Church or VFW Post 1994 honoring Charlie's legacy of service and community support.
