He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Widner (Ab) and Mary Alice Widner; his siblings, Patsy Keeling, Ester Denton and Jim Widner; his nephew David Baumgardner; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Baumgardner, Roger "Boze" Parks and Montgomery.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Widner; his siblings, Roger Widner (Rachel), Bertha Baumgardner, Kathy Parks, Sheri Cox (Rick), Cindy Montgomery and Barbara Coleman (Justin); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Denton and Steve Keeling.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (26385 Denton Valley Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211).
