He was predeceased by: his wife Ophelia Parker Carraway. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Wilson (Danny) of Abingdon, Sheila Ambrose (Frank) of Lansdowne and Dave Carraway Jr. (Bobbi); his grandchildren, Stephen Wilson (Noelle), Rachel Schallon (Matt), Aubyn Carraway (Matt), Caitlin Burkhardt (Tyler), Daniel Smith, Rachel Ambrose and Christopher Ambrose; his great grandchildren, Erin, Sarah, Isaac, Hannah Schallon and Avery Darcy; and his caregivers, Mary, Darlene, Jessie, Judy, Rena, Nancy and Joyce. He is also survived by great granddaughter on the way; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dave's name may be made to Samaritans Purse, Cleft Lip and Palate Surgical Team, or a charity of your choice.
