He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Roscoe "Shine" Bowers and Virginia Rose "Gin" Haga Bowers; and his uncle Dale Bowers. He is survived by: his parents, Danny Wood and Phyllis Wood of Bristol, VA; his sister Dera Leigh Stalnaker (Nate) of Bristol, TN; his nieces and nephews, Averie Kate Stalnaker, Mayleigh Brooke Stalnaker and Cannon James Stalnaker; his grandparents, Ernest Lee and Mary Alice Wood of Wise, VA; and his aunts and uncles, Guy Bowers (Betty), Roger Bowers (Jeanie), Sharon Rasnake, Sharon Rogers (Gary) and Jeff Wood (Janie).
