With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Faye Hopkins (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Burroughs and Belle Burroughs; her husband Richard Eugene Hopkins; her son David Hopkins; and her siblings, Donna Randall and Gary Burroughs.

She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Hopkins; her siblings, Geri Hart and Denny Burroughs; her niece Shelley Rowland; and her pets, Motley and Woody.
