Don Franklin Minnick Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 15, 2020, at the age of 72, Don Franklin Minnick of Abingdon, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Franklin and Lynn Rush Minnick; and his brother Thomas Rush Minnick. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Geraldine Duncan Minnick; his son Don Franklin Minnick Jr. (Pamela); his sister Susie McConnell (Eddie); his grandchildren, Kelsee Logan Haworth, Laken Emily Minnick and Dalton William Franklin Minnick; and his niece Beth Minnick.

Due to current COVID-19 regulations, we ask that all family members and guests attending visitations and services to please wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Abingdon Church of Christ 19508 Dennison Dr, Abingdon, VA 24211 or Abingdon Masonic Lodge #48 325 W Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210.
