With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Wayne Harris of Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Richard Harris and Mary Kathleen Puckett Harris; his brothers, Jeff Harris and Dale Harris; and his grandchildren, Mikey Harris and Skarlette Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Ora Kay Ward Harris; his children, Missy Holbrook (Gary) of Abingdon, Tracy Sheets (Jamie) of Marion, Joshua Hoover (Brittany) of Meadowview and Desiree Hoover of Abingdon; his brother Ben Harris (Bonnie) of Stuart; his sisters-in-law, Gail Harris and Dixie Page; and his granddaughter Kylee Hoover.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (13 Heritage Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
