With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald West Ayers of Abingdon, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ayers (Cap) and Eva West Ayers; his wife Ruby Wilson Ayers; his brothers, Ellis Ayers and Thomas Ayers; and his pet Tiger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Welch (Dave) of Bristol, TN and Renna Warren (Scott) of Knoxville, TN; his grandsons, Samuel Ayers Warren and Luke Everett Warren of Knoxville, TN; and his sisters, Sharon Parker and Ann Conner (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Farris Cremation & Funeral Center – Forest Hills Chapel (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
