She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Lee McCarty and Alice O'Neil McCarty; and her husbands, Emory "Dee Dee" Mullins and Lewis Evans Blevins. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Cook (Thomas "Cookie" Cook), Dee Mullins, Billy Stanley (Sheena Stanley) and Catherine Stanley; her grandchildren, April Carr (Quentin Carr), Anthony Cook, Tyler Cook (Josselynn Cook), Haley Mullins (Bailey Walker), Katelyn Mullins, Allison Stanley and Makenzie Stanley; her aunt Mary Catherine "Aunt Cathy" McCarty; and her uncle Leon Shephard. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, eight brothers, three sisters, several nieces and nephews, a host of extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Farris Funeral Service - Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210).
