It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy June Young (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Haynes and Hazel Haynes; her former husband Hubert Barrett; her siblings, Paul Haynes, Leonard Haynes and Faye Higgins; and her sister-in-law Betty Haynes.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Young; her daughter Lesa Yeager (William); her stepchildren, Mary Moffatt, Paul Young (Sharon), David Young (Becky) and Michael Young (Caroline); her siblings, Ruby Arnold (Kenneth) and Charlie Haynes; her grandchildren, Tara Rosenbaum, Julie Dillow and Leslie Rosenbaum; her stepgrandchildren, Beth Young, Melanie Young, Scott Moffatt (Amy), Eric Moffatt (Heather), Taylor Young and Bryce Young; her great grandchildren, Blake Rosenbaum, Kendra Rosenbaum, Zoie Gilmer, Paige Rosenbaum and Nathan Rosenbaum; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Hudson Moffatt, Trevor Moffatt and Colette Moffatt; and her great great grandchild June Fulton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
