Dorothy McAllister Davis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy McAllister Davis of Abingdon, Virginia, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Roy McAllister; her brothers, Harold, Landon and Herbert McAllister; and her husband Henry Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Davis (Peggy) and Melanie Meredith (Michael); her siblings, Dallas McAllister, Stella Tilley, Roy Wayne McAllister and Charles Gordon McAllister; her granddaughter Kathleen Sines (Daniel); her siblings, Kristen Martin (Ed) and Michael Davis II (Carly); and her great grandchild Hazel Bee Davis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial fund in her name at the First Church of God, Chilhowie.
