With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Henry Workman Jr. of Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Earl Henry Workman, Sr.; and his siblings, William E. Workman (Bill) of Ravenswood, WV, Betty Jo Beulike of Naples, FL and Judith Hope Miller of Punaluu, HI.. He is survived by: his wife Janie Mullins Workman; his daughter Candace Jane Workman; his stepchildren, George Thomas Nelms, Jr., Martha Rebecca Nelms and Sarah Elizabeth Gentry (James); and his siblings, Roberta Stuck of Charleston, WV and Robert L. Workman of Cross Lanes, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory be made to First Christian Church of Abingdon, 185 Old Jonesboro Road, Abingdon, VA 24210.
