He is survived by: his wife Elaine Shelton; his children, Christina Johnson (Don) of Elizabethton and Jonathan Shelton (Nikki) of Pasadena; and his sisters, Velma Sue Wymer and Carol Belefski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
