She was predeceased by: her parents, C. L. Mowery and Macie Bostic Mowery; her husband Eugene Pierce Wampler of Wampler's Service Station; her son Randy Eugene Wampler; her siblings, Don Mowery, Betty Jo Barker and Judy Ann Mowery; and her granddaughter Jessica Lorraine Wampler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Jane Bratton (Joey) of Lebanon, Kathy Eileen Vencill (Delmer) of Lebanon and Donna Marie White (Walter) of Abingdon; her daughter-in-law Brenda Wampler of Kingsland; her brother-in-law Jeffrey Wampler (Vickie) of Abingdon; her brothers, Johnny Mowery (Betty) of Abingdon and Billy Dean Mowery of Michigan; her grandchildren, Eugenia Proffitt, Maranda Wampler, Kimberly Rhea, Sarah Vannoy, Maggie Buckles, Erica Parsons and Levi Buckles; and her close friend Scott Thompson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Antioch House (19479 N Fork River Rd, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
