He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Riffey; his son Christopher Riffey (Melissa) of Bristol, Virginia; his siblings, Bill Riffey of Abingdon, Virginia, Joyce Holmes of Meadowview, Loretta McCray (Gary) of Hayters Gap, Charlotte Denton (Terry) of Bristol, Ruth Day of Ocala and Sharon Thomas of Abingdon; his grandchildren, Jaxson Layne Riffey, River Allen Riffey and Shayla Arnold; and his close friends, Bob Rymer of Saltville and Leonard Hart of Church Hill, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
