Frank H. Ratliff Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 90, Frank H. Ratliff (Abingdon, Virginia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank H. Ratliff to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dewey Ratliff, Sr. and Buggie Looney Ratliff; his wife Ruby Jean Layne Ratliff; his siblings, John Dewey Ratliff, Jr., Curtis Eugene Ratliff, Faye Ratliff, Virginia "Jean" Boyd, Ray Ratliff, Ralph Ratliff and Lorene Jantzen; and his close friend Samantha Lovelace.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Ratliff (Samantha Lovelace) of Abingdon, VA; his granddaughter Nichole Herndon of Blountville, TN; his siblings, Tora La Tragna, Clinton Ratliff (Mabel), Claude Ratliff (Ida) and Loretta Albert; and his sister-in-law Edith Ratliff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farris Funeral Service, Inc. – Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1019 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
