He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dewey Ratliff, Sr. and Buggie Looney Ratliff; his wife Ruby Jean Layne Ratliff; his siblings, John Dewey Ratliff, Jr., Curtis Eugene Ratliff, Faye Ratliff, Virginia "Jean" Boyd, Ray Ratliff, Ruth Ratliff, Ralph Ratliff and Lorene Jantzen; his in-laws, Mabel Ratliff, Mary Ratliff, Ken Jantzen, George La Tragna, Elaine Ratliff, Maria Ratliff, Ed Boyd and Tom Albert; his nephew Randy Boyd; and his close friend Samantha Lovelace.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Ratliff; his granddaughter Nichole Herndon of Blountville, TN; his siblings, Tora La Tragna, Clinton Ratliff, Claude Ratliff (Ida) and Loretta Albert; and his sister-in-law Edith Ratliff.
