He was predeceased by: his father Kickle "Butch" Dillard; his grandparents, Fred, Gladys Dillard, James "Bean Whacker" and Ethel Fields; and his siblings, Ashley Childress and Jeffery VanMeter.
He is survived by: his mother Ella Mae Fields Harless; his siblings, Leroy VanMeter (Dana), Michael Dillard, Johnnie Mae Roark (Randy), Sarah Sharrett (Danny) and Lisa Childress; his nephews, Jeffery Leroy VanMeter, Christopher Roark, Isiah Leroy VanMeter and Noah Joe Lee VanMeter; and his niece Brandy VanMeter (Kenny). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
