He was predeceased by: his parents, Parlie Meadows and Ellen Meadows (Owens); his wife Lacy Meadows (Potter); his son Gary Alexander "Alex" Meadows; and his siblings, Diana Hale and Larry Edwards.
He is survived by: his daughter Erin Meadows (James Stevens); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Alexander "Xander", James "Jamie" and Ellen "Ellie"; and his sisters, Lana Ward (James), Connie McCoy (Richard), Janey Sanders (Jerry) and Gail Smith (Keith). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
