He was predeceased by: his former wife Vonda Lee Hale Robbins of Abingdon; his parents, Donald Ray Robbins and Verda Ison Robbins; and his sister Faye Hampton. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa "Missy" Robbins Boone (Robert) of Surfside Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Makenzie Sauthoff (Cory) of Surfside Beach, SC and Brandon Turner (Kristina); his great grandchildren, Kenzie and Keegan of Wise; his grandson Robert "Smokey" Boone of Galax; his stepson Garrett Thacker (Hope); his stepgrandsons, Jake of Abingdon and Brett "Hollywood" Thacker of Abingdon; and his sister-in-law Teresa Morgan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
