We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 85, Gaye J. Teegarden in Abingdon, Virginia, born in Hunter, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gaye departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gaye may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gaye leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vaughn Teegarden (V. R.); her parents, Levi Bell and Helen Block Bell; her stepfather Emil Holzkamm; and her brother Robert Bell.
She is survived by: her sons, Vaughn Ray Richey Teegarden (Melanie) and Robert Timothy Teegarden; her brother Tim Holzkamm; her grandchildren, Lorelei Teegarden (Dylan) and Storm Teegarden (Xavier); her sister-in-law Louise Bell; and her caregiver Linda Biggs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
