He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Franklin and Mary Ruth Denton Taylor; his brothers, Jack and Steve; his in-laws, Frank and Betty Montgomery; his uncle Glen Denton; and his cousin Tony Denton.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Taylor; his children, Kevin Taylor, Lisa Kite (Chris) and Luke Taylor; his grandchildren, Dustin Kite, Zane Kite, Sage Kite and Charlotte "Charlie" Taylor; his sisters, Glennie Jones, Ruth Ann Croghan and Jean Zimmerman; and his sister-in-law Shirley Taylor.
