She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Clifton Poe and Fressie Barker Poe; and her siblings, E. C. Poe, Glen Poe, Boyd Poe and Midge Poe Self.
She is survived by: her husband Paul H. Phillips (Hal); her children, Patty M. Phillips (Pepper) and Curt W. Phillips (Liz); and her grandchildren, Emily Sarah Phillips (Preston Showman), Amanda E. Phillips and Jamie C. Perry (Matt).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Spring Presbyterian Church (22007 Green Springs Church Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holston Valley Baptist Church (18396 Cleveland Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211).
