She was predeceased by: her parents, George Poole and Edna Poole; and her sister Margaret Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Hock (Jeff), George Robért and Kerry Robért; her sister Nancy Strebeck (Vernon); her nephew David Robert; and her close friend Evelyn Kephart. She is also survived by three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
