He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Hayden Roe and Martha Jane Wright Roe; his wife Sue Odum Roe; and his siblings, Grace Mercer, Ellen Smith, Kathleen Galliher, Audrey Clark, Jessie Galliher, Ruby Smith, Charles Rowe, Tom Roe and Hal Roe.

He is survived by : his daughters, Amanda Statzer (Robbie) and Ginger Wolfe (Ervin); and his grandchildren, Austin Wolfe, Taylor Statzer and Gracie Statzer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
