Janet leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janet’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Janet will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Evans and Dennis Evans. She is survived by: her husband Dean McGraw; her children, Angela Salyer, Joseph McGraw and Nathan McGraw; and her brothers, Denny Evans and Stuart Evans. She is also survived by her family, her church, her friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church (136 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210).
