We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2023, at the age of 88, Jim Stanley (Abingdon, Virginia), born in Clintwood, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent E. B. Stanley; and his brother Joe Kyle Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Preston Stanley; his children, Susie Riggs (Jason) of Salisbury, NC, Reed Stanley (Amanda) of Lebanon, VA and Matthew Stanley (Amy) of Safety Harbor, FL; and his grandchildren, Jaylee Stanley of Juliana Stanley, D. J, Katelyn Stanley and Hazel Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Abingdon United Methodist Church.
