He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxie Kennedy and Sandoe Kennedy; and his son Jason Bryan Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy McKee Kennedy of Abingdon; his son Justin Kennedy (Laura Ball) of Brooklyn, N. Y.; his grandchildren, Cleo Love Kennedy and Luca Kennedy of Brooklyn, N. Y.; and his siblings, Leona Lebo of Abingdon and Sandoe Kennedy (Rebecca Kennedy) of Bristol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Abingdon United Methodist Church (101 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
